After embarrassing the Narwhals in the South London derby last week, the last thing we needed was to call upon the Leeches to join the dark side. But needs must, and with only 5 Narwhals available for a Tuesday Thameside fixture at the London Aquatics Centre, the horn was sounded and Nic Leech and Tim Leech came to our rescue. Badeeeer.

The Leeches were taught one of the key behaviours of a pod of Narwhals, 7 idiots are easier to control than 10. And so it was that the 7 put in an excellent display of actually listening to instructions and executing a perfect game plan.

A 20-2 final score, with 2 clean sheet quarters for George in goal. The Orcas couldn’t get through the defence and some champagne passing helped us bag many counter attack goals.

Motm goes to everyone, no standout performances and everyone played well. Goals shared all around (apart from Zach, see Fluffer…)

Moment to Oggy for a 6m backshot with 2 Orcas hanging onto him

Fluffer sadly goes to Zach who didn’t take his chance for a goal by missing a pen. Still managed to get 2 majors (in the 1st quarter with only 7 players) *{Editors note: It was the 2nd quarter} to avoid a trip to the Algarve.

Massive semi tonight {Editors note: A week ago} in the Thameside Handicap cup. Can the Narwhals overturn a 5 goal handicap to make a cup final? Come back soon to find out.
